What you should know about: Chloé

This is one of the brands I didn’t know anything about. Really sad, I know, but I’ve learned, I really had! I saw the collections for years now, and I absolutely love it, soooo, why not bring to you this incredible brand? Great idea, isn’t it? Of course it is! Well, Chloé was founded in 1952 by Gaby Aghion, an Egyptian woman that moved to Paris in 1945 with the idea to offer women ready to wear luxurious. Since the luxury brands only made Haute Couture and the majority of people couldn’t afford it, she decided to create a line of clothes that combined luxury with a better price! In other words, it is thanks to her that we have the ready to wear  like it is today. In 1953, Gaby has teamed up with Jacques Lenoir, that dedicated himself exclusively to the business side of the brand, which allowed Aghion to dedicate her time to the creativity of the brand. These days, Chloé is part of the Richemont Group and had already dressed celebrities like Madonna, Sienna Miller, Katie Holmes, Cameron Diaz or Emma Stone. Esta é uma das marcas de que eu não sabia nada sobre. É muito triste, eu sei, mas eu aprendi, a sério! Eu já vejo a coleção há anos e adoro completamente, portaaaanto, porque não trazer-vos esta marca incrível? Boa ideia, não é? Claro que sim! Bem, a Chloé foi fundada em 1952 por Gaby Aghion, uma mulher egipcía que se mudou para Paris em 1945 com a ideia de oferecer às mulheres um pronto a vestir mais luxuoso. Uma vez que as grandes marcas apenas produziam Alta Costura e a maioria das pessoas não tinham posses para a adquirir, ela decidiu criar uma coleção que aliava o luxo com um preço melhor! Por outras palavras, é graças a ela que temos o pronto a vestir como é hoje. Em 1953, Gaby aliou-se a Jacques Lenoir que se dedicou exclusivamente à parte monetária da marca, o que permitiu a Aghion dedicar o seu tempo à parte criativa. Hoje em dia, Chloé é parte do Grupo Richemond e já vestiu celebridades como, Madonna, Sienna Miller, Katie Holmes, Cameron Diaz ou Emma Stone.
